Here’s a story to warm the cockles of your heart, folks.
Physicist Phil Chapman, a geophysicist and astronuatical engineer who became a NASA astronaut, said pictures from the U.S. Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) showed no spots on the sun.
He also said that the January to January difference in temperature has cooled by 0.7 degrees centigrade, a drop […]

Hey folks.
I came across yet another well drawn piece regarding the global warming disaster that isn’t.
It’s here, and it bears reading. Hits many of the good points that I think people who may be on the fence should be aware of.
Things (from the article) like:
The exposure of the inadequacy of NASA’s quality control with respect […]

It is with sadness that I report on this piece of news; that of NASA Administrator Michael Griffin recanting his earlier opinions on global warming.
It looks like he has succumbed to pressures from both within NASA from their Chief Climate specialist James Hansen and from people like Nancy Pelosi, who I wish would just shut […]

Oh, this is rich.
Apparently pissing off his colleagues, NASA administrator Michael Griffin, when interviewed by NPR’s Steve Inskeep said he didn’t believe global warming was an issue that we have to “wrestle with”.
The pissing off part as reported by ABC:
Griffin’s comments immediately drew stunned reaction from James Hansen, NASA’s top climate scientist at the […]

According to the folks at Newsbusters, they did.
And once again, you only need to read other sources and scientific rebuttal to unearth the bullsh*t being propagated by the media to sensationalize this subject and get the masses all sweaty-palmed and frantic.
Seems the media went ahead and ran with a model study that has dubious accuracy:
These […]

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Having a dissenting opinion on the subject of global warming will get you snubbed, slighted and smacked around usually. Tough crowd!
I happened across a good opinion piece with some interesting focus on paleoclimatology studies, which is an oft-forgotten study which can help paint a climate […]

Speaking as a private citizen, NASA scientist James Hansen urged that new coal burning plants not be built and some older ones that do not capture and bury greenhouse gases be bulldozed.
The article, which is all over the net but I gleaned from Sci-Tech Today, outlines what Mr. Hansen suggests, but there are some fundamental […]
